ROUGH WINTER/New Show Date

GOOD NEWS! Donna & Linda have been amazing in working on a re-schedule for WINTER IN THE VALLEY - The new date is FEBRUARY 20, 2010 All other info is the same. Hope to see you there!

I so hate it when people work so hard to plan an event and something unavoidable keeps it from happening! Donna Smith and Linda Miller have worked so hard on the WINTER IN THE VALLEY show and along comes another winter storm...POOF...no show. They will be working equally hard to reschedule the show, maybe this summer. Keep watching for a new date when
all those wonderful vendors, plus more will gather to offer their goodes. In the meantime, if you're in one of these areas where winter is 'messing' with you and your plans, just hunker down, stay warm and safe and Spring will be here before you know it. Wishing you good health and much sunshine...Blessings from the icy cold mountains of North Carolina.

What is that bright light? Why, it's SUNSHINE!

Nice, warm, cozy sunshine...It warmed up to 47 degrees.
Melted a lot of that nasty ole snow...Made me happy.
It was so nice, Giles washed the salt off my Jeep and
his precious "Black Beauty" (pick up truck) LOL

We take a lot for granted, like sunshine. Never again...

Did you know who you were following this year? It was just us ole geezers! LOL

This year has been a true challenge in many ways, but we have been blessed with good health, lots of wonderful friends, and each other.

We're already working on our old primitive antiques as well as homemades and hand-dids and will be offering them at some great shows during 2010. We also will have many new/old items in Sassafras in downtown West Jefferson, NC, so if you can't make it to N.C., please visit us at one of the amazing primitve shows during 2010.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW...

Well, somewhere out there are Frosty and his
whole family! As of this morning, we had 15"
plus...It's cold (Brrr) but so beautiful and peaceful.
No sign of anything but deer tracks and some
critter built so low to the ground that his belly
drags through the snow...LOL Think I'll hunker
down, do some stitchin' and hope this melts soon.

As for us, our son and our daughter and her family will be here to share in much food, tons of fun, and lots of laughter...

We are thankful for our friends and family...We pray for our dear friends, Sandy and Bill and their respective families, as well as others who are in need.
