"BLUE BEAUTY"

Well, how do you like this beauty?  It's almost identical to my own, which we took in to a friend's shop today for her to sell.  I've had mine for over 20 years and bought it from the elderly lady who originally owned it.  The first day I saw the stove, I fell in love...After all, it's BLUE!  I love anything blue, but this is an exceptionally pretty blue...A Karr cook range from early 1900's.
We've hauled our "Blue Beauty" around to each house we've lived in for the past 20 years..I used it as a display piece in my shop for several years, but just couldn't part with it...Until today.  We no longer have our shop (closed two years ago) and we don't have room for the stove in our cabin, so I thought long and hard about it and finally decided that someone else needs to own it, enjoy it, possibly cook on it (it is in excellent cooking condition)...They need to love that blue as much as I have.
I just wanted to offer a sort of official 'farewell' to my "Blue Beauty"...May she continue to cook many yummy biscuits!  Blessings from the NC mountains!

Oh my, saying farwell to a beautiful piece like that couldn't be easy. I am sure someone will love it just as much as you. I have always wanted an old wood cook stove but wouldn't have anywhere to put it if I had one. I am sure you will make some lady a happy person by parting with it. Have a wonderufl week.

Morning Barbara,
I love it when our treasures can be passed on down to someone else to love it...and it certainly is a beauty.

So hard to part with the things we Love. We are all having to deal with it, or will at some point.
These Treasures are only ours to care for ... for a little while.
I hope who ever takes your Beauty home will
Love it as much as you have.
