Check this out...
If you recently purchased Jill Peterson's newest book, THE SETTLEMENT, look on page 146 and you will see this BIG log cabin birdhouse. It's next to the walkway in front of Millie's guest cabin.
She bought one from us at a Kentucky show and later ordered several to offer for sale to her customers in Georgia. I guess this will be the closest we'll get to being in one of these awesome books...LOL
Giles makes the BIG cabin as well as other sizes so if you wish to order one, let us know. The BIG one is difficult to ship, but if you're near one of our shows, we'll be happy to deliver. OR, you may pick up here and visit a spell...BLESSINGS TO ALL!

I think it's very cool one of your birdhouse cabins made it into a book.
I guess for a home to be featured in a book the homes owner has to have a gift for choosing and displaying great pieces, and she chose one of yours...that says a lot.
Good for you!

Congrats on getting your cabin in the picture. Your cabins are very cool. We have made cabins in the past also. I know they are not that easy to make. You do a great job!

What a beautiful birdhouse cabin! Sure wish I lived nearby! And how cool to have it displayed in The Settlement! ~~Annie
Thanks Annie...didn't consider it ending up in one of Jill's awesome books (even by way of someone else's feature : )Blessings
Barbara and Giles congratulations to being in this famous book! Last year we (Libby, Lisa, and I) had an opportunity to be blessed with your hospitality at your cabin. When we saw the picture in Jill Peterson’s book last Friday (September 4), Lisa said, “That’s our cabin” and we begun to laugh and reminisce of the fun we had packing 3 large cabins into the SUV. My, what a challenge! However, you can work miracles and we manage to get all 3 cabins into the SUV and did not break anything and plus more shopping for several days afterward. The cabin is pretty no matter where it is on display at, in the book, on your blog, or where we have chosen to place it. Our cabin is on our porch which greets our guest as this usually props a positive conversation. Keep up the good work! You and Giles is an awesome team!

AWWW Cynthia...what nice words...we miss all of you...you must come back to visit! Blessings to you, Lisa & Libby!!!!
I love that cabin in front of Millie's home. I look at it and wish I had one. It looks huge too. Are you doing Lori's show this weekend coming up? I might be going so please let me know if you will have the cabins with you. I saw the pic on Millie's website. Is it the one under her double window? I hope I get to see you this weekend.
