First, I apologize for not having Judy Condon's newest book, Joy of Country, at the Summer in the Valley show on Saturday. They were supposed to ship early last week, but we were notified mid-week that shipping would not happen until the 26th.
Second, THANK YOU to our wonderful, faithful customers as well as new ones who flocked to our booth on Saturday. Our hearts swell with gratitude for all the love you show us and the appreciation you have for our goodes! It makes all that we do worthwhile. We look forward to seeing you at future shows this year and if you need anything special that we can bring to the next show, please let us know.
Third, MANY, MANY THANKS to Donna Smith and Linda Miller for including us in your fantastic shows. All the hard work you put into Summer In The Valley was evident this past weekend and we are extremely proud to be a part of it all. Many Blessings to our 'dealer friends' also... We love you all!
p.s. Yes, I took the camera. NO, I didn't get a chance to take pictures... Keep checking Donna's PT and there should be some pics there soon.

Why was it left out?
I'm mad as heck...it's not the first time! Everytime I turn around, I hear of things being left out in order to NOT offend anyone. Well, I am offended that something was left out! Read this!
NBC: Sorry for omitting 'under God'

BETHESDA, Md.
NBC issued an on-air apology Sunday for omitting the words "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance during its coverage of golf's US Open.
The words were edited out of a clip of children reciting the oath -- a move immediately noted by viewers, who took to Twitter and various blogs to voice their anger, the Huffington Post reported.
In a statement during the broadcast, NBC commentator Dan Hicks said, "We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this US Open Championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation's capital for the third time.
"Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone and we'd like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it."
The words "under God" were not in the original pledge from 1892 and were not added until 1954.
I'm sure NBC was well aware that the pledge did not include the phrase, "under God". They say it was not done to upset anyone...WELL THEN, WHY DID THEY DO IT? Agnostics, atheists, etc. must be happy! What about us? We are not happy and I, for one, intend to watch NBC to see who their sponsors are and take out my anger by refusing to use those products. I'm not doing it to offend anyone...and I do not apologize for my beliefs or opinions. AMEN

What is going on?
Is anyone else having a problem with missing Followers? When I look on my blog home page, the spot where they should be is blank. It's also the same when I'm visiting other blogs...I don't see their Followers either. The only thing there is the header, FOLLOWERS...nothing else.
I posted a comment and have read several other comments about the same problem, but can't see where Blogger is doing anything about it.
I'm not that savvy about looking for solutions, so if anyone has any info or ideas, please let me know.
I know my Following friends are there...I just can't see who you are. : (
It's not affecting my give-away, though, so keep leaving your comments on the previous two posts in order to enter my give-away. You have until June 10th.

Sad loss...

So sad to see so many years of hard work gone in a flash. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sharon in the loss of her shop, Saltbox Farm. http://saltboxfarm.blogspot.com/ We hope the days ahead are filled with strength and courage while facing the decisions she must make.
Blessings, Sharon, from your primitive friends!
